1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Bossy, including our websites, mobile applications, AI features, communications, and related services. Bossy is operated by Tomoni Labs, LLC.
By accessing or using Bossy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
2. Eligibility
Bossy is intended for users who are at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where they live. You may not use Bossy if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.
If you use Bossy on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Accounts and Security
You may need an account to use parts of Bossy. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it current, and protect your login credentials.
You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Bossy Services
Bossy helps you create tasks, receive accountability prompts, chat with AI boss personalities, upload proof of completion, and review productivity activity.
Bossy is a productivity and accountability tool. It is not professional, medical, financial, legal, therapeutic, or emergency advice.
5. AI Features
Bossy uses artificial intelligence to generate messages, reminders, task feedback, and boss personality responses. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your circumstances.
You are responsible for evaluating AI output before relying on it. Do not use Bossy for emergency, high-risk, or safety-critical decisions.
6. User Content
You may submit tasks, notes, messages, proof uploads, profile information, boss preferences, and other content to Bossy. You retain ownership of your content.
You grant Tomoni Labs, LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, transmit, and use your content as needed to operate, provide, secure, improve, and support Bossy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Bossy or help anyone else misuse it.
- Do not violate laws, third-party rights, or these Terms.
- Do not submit unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, violent, deceptive, or infringing content.
- Do not upload malware or interfere with Bossy systems, security, availability, or data.
- Do not scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or automate access to Bossy except where we have given written permission or applicable law requires otherwise.
- Do not use Bossy to make decisions that require professional judgment or human review.
8. Purchases and Subscriptions
Bossy may offer paid features, subscriptions, trials, or in-app purchases. Pricing, renewal terms, and cancellation methods will be shown before purchase.
If you purchase through an app store or payment processor, that provider may handle billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment data under its own terms. Unless required by law or stated at purchase, fees are non-refundable.
9. Intellectual Property
Bossy, including our software, design, text, graphics, brand elements, and other service content, is owned by Tomoni Labs, LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Bossy for your personal or internal business productivity purposes.
10. Third-Party Services
Bossy may rely on third-party services for hosting, analytics, authentication, storage, payments, AI processing, email, and other functions. Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, integrations, or services that we do not control.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information. By using Bossy, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
12. Service Changes and Availability
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Bossy at any time. We do not guarantee that Bossy will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every location.
13. Termination
You may stop using Bossy at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for Bossy or others, or if required by law.
After termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute provisions.
14. Disclaimers
Bossy is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tomoni Labs, LLC disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tomoni Labs, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from or related to Bossy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to Bossy will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to us for Bossy in the three months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.
16. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tomoni Labs, LLC from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of Bossy, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Tomoni Labs, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice when changes are material. Continued use of Bossy after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
